Emmanuel Malette

Emmanuel Malette (Greensboro, NC) is a dancer and choreographer. He began his dance training at the age of 13, taking summer classes at his home church. As the urge to learn about dance arose within him, he joined Katura Productions Inc. in 2009. While there, Emmanuel received much of his training in hip hop taught by Kimberly Jones. In 2012, Emmanuel auditioned for the School of Dance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After being accepted, Emmanuel had the opportunity to perform with and learn from many great teachers such as: Duane Cyrus, BJ Sullivan, and Janet Lilly. Emmanuel has also had the opportunity to perform at the John F Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, The Monticello, and at many other respectable places. Emmanuel has also worked with dance film makers around the world through the Experimental Films Virginia founded by Renata Sheppard. Today Emmanuel focuses primarily on inspiring everyone that he comes in contact with and whether it is performing, filming, or teaching..
