Alexandra Strouse is currently a junior at Elon University, pursuing her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and BA in Strategic Communications. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Alexandra studied dance with the George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, the Inertia Dance Company, and The Moving Company Dance Center. Alexandra was awarded the Maryland All-State Dance Award and the Carver Unsung Hero Dance Award. Her training has also included summer intensive programs with The Ailey School and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. This past summer, Alexandra was the Ailey Extension Intern for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Alexandra is excited to be an Apprentice with JOYEMOVEMENT.
